We stopped here years ago and today we are very happy that the small vinotheque is still there. There is a very good selection of wines and a small menu with regional specialties. Very friendly service.

Great place to try the Iphöfer wines. All wines can be tasted in practical 0.1l bottles and sometimes tasted a wine that you couldn't / didn't want to buy a whole bottle of.

Was really great in the past. We came here to eat and enjoy. Now very poor. Service not exactly good. Eating (Franconian antipasti) is an imposition. There are better things in Iphofen even during the Corona period !!!!

Very exclusive menu, something for every taste and budget. Rich wine selection of local winemakers and farms. Everything fresh and appetizing prepared. Unfortunately, the vinotheque closes soon, so quickly back down.

Very nice atmosphere and best Franconian wine selection. The dishes are also recommended. The professionalism of the service is still something expandable, therefore also "only" 4 stars!

Go back & bring time to enjoy! Alone the location is already an experience! Winding, small, airy and big, they are not mutually exclusive. Here you can stay detached from any sense of time in a great atmosphere. The wine list is lush, the prices are cheap to moderate. The service is very friendly and cordial, but lately did not tend to exaggerated hurry. Here, however, is hectic to avoid: his next Schoppen you get quite quickly after only a few steps at the bar, where you quickly get into contact with locals. The vinotheque offers space for individuals and smaller groups up to 10 people. There are high chairs, cozy sitting areas with upholstered furniture and dining table with benches. So there is something for every taste. At its core, the vinotheque is an old half-timbered house, so accessibility is defined accordingly. At every opportunity you can find small sleepers, steps, stairs and narrow passageways.

I did not buy anything. Was on the way to Schwanberglauf 😏. But there are good wines from the best locations and from well-known winemakers / cellars offered. For connoisseurs and others (you will be advised!) Certainly worth a visit.

Always come back every year. The wine, the food and the service are great. The price-performance ratio is very good. We look forward to our next visit in 2019.
